GARDEN ROOM NEWS

Over the next two weeks we will be telling a new story called Jaspers Beanstalk. This is about a cat called Jasper who plants a bean and gets fed up with waiting for it to grow. I wonder what will happen?
I will add the link at the end of the story.

On our creative table we have added a variety of printing tools and some large paper. The children will be able to make lots of marks.

In the water tray, we have added the animals from our last story, so the children will be able to wash the cow 🐄 the pig 🐖 and the duck. 🦆 We hope that they will be able to retell the story whilst washing the animals.

On our sensory tray we have added long spaghetti and scissors. The children will be able to chop the spaghetti 🍝 and place it in pans.

Our home corner has some real vegetables to it for the children to chop and cook. We have added magazines, and dressing up clothes.

We are hoping to bake some biscuits this week, some heart biscuits. The children will be able to read a recipe sheet and then help mix the ingredients together before taking them home.

Outside we are going to be enhancing the mud kitchen. We added flower petals, and herbs. The children will be able to mix these together with the mud and add water to make lots of pies.

We are hoping for a fun-filled two weeks of learning.
