GARDEN ROOM NEWS

Over the next two weeks in the Garden Room we are going to be introducing a new story. It’s called Whale gets stuck. We will be learning new words such as whale, penguin, polar bear, ice.
I have added the Makaton we will be learning, which goes alongside our new story.

The children are going to be painting on ice as we will be exploring lots of ice for our story.
The small world table has got Bob the 👷‍♀️ builder vehicles on. The children have shown an interest in Bob. They will be using their imaginary skills to play with them and also be learning how to take turns. We use now it’s … turn and next it’s ….turn. Being consistent with this really helps.

In our house, Mrs Fraser has added props from the Three Bears Story. The children have really enjoyed this story and are now able to retell the story for themselves. 🐻🐻🐻

We're going to be going to Jubilee Hall on Monday and Tuesday so we can taste some porridge. We will be going in two groups. Mrs Lingards and Mrs Frasers story group on Monday and Miss Woods group on Tuesday.
