Badgers' Room News

Over the next two weeks in the Badgers, we will be focusing on encouraging the children to come to the attention bucket. We have lots of exciting flashing toys that wind up we will be using ready, steady, Go to build the anticipation of what will happen.

We are going to be exploring Apples 🍎 we will learn the Makaton for Apple and encourage the children to take 1 or 2 pieces at snack time. We will talk about our apples, describing how they feel hard, they are green or red in colour. This will then lead to using paint to do some apple printing and mark making.

We will be playing alongside the children in all areas, modelling play skills and using repetitive language in play. We have added some pictures of the areas for the children to explore for you to see.
