Over the next 2 weeks in the badgers we will be using the real snow in the classroom to give the children the sensory experience of real snow in a warmer environment.

During bucket time stage 1 we will be using cause and effect toys pressing the button on the flashing train and watching it bump into things and turn round, the poppet toy using the words pop pop and finally bubbles as this is a thing that all the children love and keeps them engaged.
Stage 2 bucket time will involve cut out stars, we will teach the children how to use glue and stick glitter to make twinkling stars.
Stage 3 bucket time will involve singing I am the music man I come from down your way and I can play (drum, tambourine, bells and shakers) we will take turns using the different instruments 1 at a time.

Our song for the next week we will be revisiting look look see the snow see it falling down we will be using the real snow to show the children how it falls to the ground and experience how cold it fells and how it melts when we touch it. We will then move onto the wheels on the bus go round and round moving round the classroom using steering wheels, scarves for the wipers with water spray and a horn to make lots of noise.
