Over the next two weeks we will be enjoying our new story of the week ‘ It’s okay to be different’. We will be looking at our features, eyes, nose , hair and ears etc and those of our friends. We will also look at things that are different and things that are the same and that this is all ok. 📖🪞

The children are still continuing to work together to make new tracks and connecting the trains together, they are showing some great skills in this and sharing their ideas 🚂

Continuing with our painting and the story of the week we have introduced some mirrors so the children can look at their features and paint themselves.🖌️🎨

In our sensory tray we have play dough and added in some play dough scissor’s, this is to introduce a new physical skill to the children to practice ‘open and close’ and get use to holding them ready for scissors at a later stage. I am sure there will be a big interest in this activity! 😊✂️

In our sand tray we have put in some wet sand and dry sand so the children can build sandcastles and encourage emptying and filling with the buckets and spades 🪣

The children have been very eager to look at their beans and see if they have grown over the weekend, they will continue to water them and fingers crossed with a little bit of sunshine they will.
